Plum jacquard fabric Hardy Amies shoulder tote/ carry- on valise bag, circa late 1970s vintage.
Generous exterior zip top pocket with gold embossed 'HARDY AMIES' name on the front.
Soft sided and bottomed bag - full zip top with open interior.
Shoulder strap is adjustable and has black rubber comfort pad, as shown.
End of zipper snaps down to the side of the bag- gold embossed 'Savile Hide, made in England' on the underside.
The 'Savile hide' strap and trim look and feel like a high quality leatherette.
Highly stylized repeating 'HA' monogram jacquard, designed in the midst of logo mania by an otherwise fairly staid fashion house.
Super clean and in great condition, showing very light signs of wear.
